Hey there class,
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving break. I know I had plenty to eat and drink. As for the break went, I just went home to Myrtle Beach to spend time with the family and the girlfriend's family. Her parent's cooked us a delicious dinner with all of the fixings. I talked about what all they were going to make last time, and they held up to that.
The rest of the break was also fun. I saw many friends I have not seen in a while and I even went out to the country where we did some country boy stuff. I shot guns, went mudding, went out on the boat, and ate some homemade food. Very fun times.
The semester is about over, which will probably end this particular blog for me. But, I hope to follow up in the future by keep posting on a blog of my choice. I have learned a lot about communication in the classroom as well as out. I look forward to using my skills I have learned and show people how to really communicate efficiently.
See everyone in class tomorrow,

Holiday Season
I have always loved this time of year. I'm pretty sure most everyone does. It is a time to hang out with the family and friends you love as well as eating all the home made food. Next week is Thanksgiving, and I can not wait to eat what my girlfriend's mom makes. We are both going back home to Myrtle Beach for the Holiday.
The menu consists of fried turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and my favorite, pumpkin pie. There are several other fixings in the menu, but those are my favorites. The other part of the day will consist upon numerous bottles of wine. Drinking a light alcohol allows me to eat a lot of food.
After all of the dinner, Kara and I will probably head to the local bar to reminisce with all of the people we used to go to high school with. I am looking forward to spend the Holiday back at the beach where I grew up.
See everyone at the news station,

Work Study
So I finally got a job that will give me some experience. I am starting today at the Citadel. I saw that they have a work study program that gives you the opportunity to work in a department of choice on campus. I signed up for the procurement position. I don't really understand the position as a whole, but it sounds as if I will be doing a bunch of different applications in a business sector.
I just know that it will look good on my resume, as well as giving me the experience I need to get out in the work force. This will hopefully be a good opportunity for me until I find that job that really suits my interest and future money requirements.
I start in one hour from right now, so I am a little nervous. I will let you know how it goes next week on my blog. I am working 20 hours a week, so I should have a little more understanding of what I am doing. I will keep you posted.

Chesapeake Bay Retreiver
Hey guys,
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I made sure I kept up on all of the SNL skits for the presidential election. There were some pretty funny ones.
As far as this weekend went, I went home to Myrtle Beach to visit my dad. It was good to be back in town for a little while. We played golf and went out to dinner. The golfing part was pretty awesome due to the fact that I shot a 75. That is the best I have ever scored so I was pretty impressed. That was the weekend upon itself.
As for the title of the blog, I put a deposit down for a Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy. The mom has not had the pups yet, but they should be due next week some time. They will be ready to take home right around Christmas time. I am very excited to finally have my own dog. I know it will be a huge responsibility, but I am ready to have that companion that I am responsible for. I will post pictures toward the end of the semester for how the littler looks.
Anyways, see everyone in class tomorrow.

11 Hours One Way
Hey guys and gals,
I spoke last week about how I am going up to Pennsylvania for the weekend. I will tell you that I am not going on a trip for a while. The drive was 11 hours straight while in a small car. It was uncomfortable, it was tight, the outlets did not work, and the radio was being controlled by girls. The whole being in Pennsylvania was fun, but the drive will not happen again for a while.
On a different note, I just noticed that there are people living in the woods across the street from my house. I live in a residential neighborhood with many houses, but there are woods across the street with a little path. There are at least two different guys I have seen walk in and out of there living in tents that I can see through the trees. I have called the cops twice already, but they have not done much yet. I am just a little concerned because I live with my girlfriend and I do not want her to have to worry about walking outside at night. I do not know exactly what I am going to do if the cops do not take action removing them.
Anyways, I will see everybody on Wednesday and good luck on your presentations.

Hershey Park
What is up Class,
This blog post will be all about how my weekend is going to unravel.
My girlfriend, Kara, will be turning 23 on Thursday. I asked her what she wanted to do for it a long time ago, and the first thing out of her mouth was Hershey Park in Pennsylvania. I thought it was kind of a joke, but no. She called her sister and they planned everything for the trip.
We will be leaving on Thursday to head up to Columbia. Her sister is in school there, and we will have a place to stay for the night. I am taking Kara out to dinner for her birthday to her favorite Sushi spot in Columbia. That will be a good dinner.
The next morning we will be leaving very early in the morning to head on up to a 9 hour drive. I am going to be driving on this trip, so yeah for me. We will arrive at the hotel just outside of the park and do whatever it is you do at Hershey Park. I am kind of scared to see what is going to happen. Kara and her sister used to go there as kids every summer, but I am sure this was when they were very little. Parks are different when you get a little older and taller in my experience.
I will have to make the best of it because it is my baby's birthday. I will have an update next week if there is any funny stories that come out of this trip.
See you'll in class,

Career Fair
Hello Class
I went to my first career fair today. I know I have been talking about finding jobs lately, but I am in the process of weeding out exactly what it is that I want to do. I think I want to do something with construction. Project Management and Operations are something that interests me and I believe it will be the choice I take. I have been talking with several people and hopefully something turns out. As for the career fair, there were several businesses that caught my eye and I will be following up with them.
The overall process with the career fair was rather intimidating. I have never been to one before, so that is probably the reason. Booths and lines with people that want to recruit you is how I saw it today. I made a map before I went to know where I needed to go. It helped me not got suckered into a company I had no knowledge of.
I am still in the hunt for that perfect job, but I know it will happen.
